Give me a sign.
During a rift in a relationship, a fork in the road, a breakup, I want to know what the right thing to do is. Usually, I look to a person of authority, someone who has a larger map than I do. They will expertly point to a destination and tell me how to get there.
I will be completely lost. I don’t know where I am or what I’m doing. But I know I need to leave. So I listen to their directions and go on my journey, hopefully.
This time, I want to find it on my own. I have completely lost myself, but perhaps, being lost and empty makes more room for happiness. Get to that intersection, that dead end, that foreign space, and find the adventure.
The world is your fucking oyster.
